I was aware this was a possibility.
I don't know all the words for poems.
I don't know how to be.
I don't even know if I will ever be ready.
I just know that I care now.
And that I am emotionally involved
Even if you never were.
I will be better.
I saw it coming.
I don't know why.
But I did.
You weren't involved the same way.
And that is ok.
Just hurts.
A little but it does.

And although might not be romantically anymore....
I'm happy to know about your existence.
